Tips From Cleaning Experts: Clean Your House in 1 Hour!

Today we have some advice from a professional cleaning company. After all, they know better than anyone how you can clean quickly and effectively. According to their estimates, you can clean an average home in an hour. Yes, you hear that right: one hour! More is really not needed according to them. What a glory when you spend so little time on your favorite job. But then you have to work according to a certain schedule from top to bottom. Today we share these handy insider tips with you.

The Bedrooms: Emptying and Dusting

Important to start with: Place everything you need in a plastic roller box and put all your things ready. That's half the battle. You spend about ten minutes in each bedroom. First of all, you empty the spaces. You collect all the laundry or bedding in one go and place it in the laundry basket or on a chair. After all, you can only clean in an empty room.

Make the bed and lift the mattress on every corner when you tuck your sheets in, that goes faster. Then you dust everything with a microfiber cloth where you go around the room clockwise and lift each item. With this cloth, you wipe one way (not back and forth). Use a long feather duster for mirrors.

The Bedrooms: The Floor

With vacuuming, you start in the farthest corner and you suck with long movements towards the door without skipping a part. Save time by pulling the vacuum cleaner over the floor only once and not several times. Make sure you have a good vacuum cleaner with sufficient power and an empty dust bag. If you have a wooden or laminate floor, you can mop it lightly wet with some natural lemon cleaner.

The Bathroom

This applies to all rooms: The fewer loose items, the less time you spend cleaning. Place as much as possible in cupboards. You spend around 9 minutes in the bathroom. First, you spray the sink, shower, bath, floor, and toilet with cleaner and let it withdraw.

Put some chlorine or bitter salt in the toilet bowl, brush it well and let it absorb for a moment. Afterwards, you place some cleaner on an (other) microfiber cloth and you clean the glasses, toilet bowl and around it. You continue with the sink and clean it with another microfiber cloth where you work from the back to the front and scrub the taps and drain.

When you clean your shower and bath every week you do not need to scrub but a thorough turn with a warm microfibre cloth is enough. Finally, you joke the space from the farthest corner to the door.

The Kitchen

You spend 12 minutes in the kitchen. Preparation: You tidy up the dishwasher and turn it on and tidy up all loose items. Then you start with the dirtiest parts. You can remove hard residues or grease from your stove with an old plastic bank or credit card. Scrub off the rest with a scourer. You place cleaner on all surfaces that you are going to clean. With a microfiber cloth, you can clean the countertop, cupboard doors and external devices in a clockwise tour of the kitchen. Finally, you quickly suck and mop the floor from the back to the front.

The Living Room

You take 15 minutes for the living room. Take a quick look around at the loose items. You collect equipment remotes and place magazines in a pile. You place pillows and plaids back in place.

You then start dusting in the same way as in the bedroom: clockwise through the room, dusting and lifting each item in one movement. If your novel has blinds or blinds, you dust them off with a long feather duster.

You treat glass surfaces with a cloth with special glass cleaner and circulating movements where you work in the room from back to front. Finally, you quickly vacuum the room with a few simple movements from the back to the front. You can also quickly mop the room.
