What Types of Pool Cleaners are There?

If you want to optimally enjoy your outdoor swimming pool, you must ensure that the water remains as clean as possible. So clean your pool regularly. So choose a good pool cleaner with which you can clean your entire pool in no time.

Types of Pool Cleaners

Ground cleaner or swimming pool cleaner

An automatic pool cleaner is one of the most common pool cleaners. Works just like a regular vacuum cleaner with suction. The bottom piston moves over the bottom of the swimming pool and is connected to the filter unit via a hose. The dirt that is sucked up by the pool cleaner eventually ends up in the skim box. If you want to save money, you can also opt for a manually operated vacuum cleaner.

Pressure cleaner

A pressure cleaner for your swimming pool has its own hydraulic pump and its own bag or compartment to store the dirt. This machine therefore no longer pressurizes the filter. The machine sprays the water under high pressure into the pool, after which it stores the dirt.

Electric automatic cleaner

These electric cleaners move on, you only need to connect it to the socket via a transformer. The cleaner has two motors: one for collecting the dirt, one for keeping the machine moving. an electric automatic cleaner also has its own compartment to collect the dirt and therefore does not have to load the filter.

Built-in cleaning system

You can also choose to have a cleaning system built into your pool from the outset. You need to integrate this floor cleaner into the construction of your swimming pool. Tubes are built into the bottom of your pool, which pushes the water in the direction of the filter. Even now you can hardly see your cleaning system anymore!
